TIME for reflection
How do we create quality time for reflections that allows us to connect the ideas and thoughts that surround us?
Especially in the Net Age, where distraction comes with just one mouse click. (May be this is just my problem that I am easily distracted by new thoughts....)
Please give me input on this!

We don't. Time is a constant. All you can play with is _attention_.
So to come to a conclusion you would have to rephrase your question: "How do you help people to focus their attention on one thing and not be distracted by other thoughts?" or something similar.
How do we do that?
Some ideas:
1) Give instructions ("Try to switch your internet connection off while you do this. Close your email client.")
2) Create space (conference tables are good for working - not always for reflecting.)
3) Minimise distractions
4) Give personal support (in form of a coach or another person that assists by asking questions to support reflection)

I have this challenge too, Hanno.
One thing I do for myself, because I really need the time for reflection in order to keep myself fresh and creative, is try to take a walk every day, in nature if at all possible.
For me, immersing myself in the natural world is the fastest route to reflection and that focus of attention that Martin is referring to in his comment above.
What do you find works best for you?

Thanks to both of you for your great comments!
I also find nature a wonderfully reflective place to be and walking in nature is a great way to organise thoughts.
Martin,
I am still at the beginning of applying your suggestions. I find myself easily distracted. But I see what you mean; it takes small but very concrete steps to create reflective time.
